When the dot coms began selling back in the 1990s it was an expensive operation. At AINEO, we paid $30-50 dollars a year to purchase each of our domains from (the monopoly called) Network Solutions. Things do not seem to have changed much since then at NetSol. A new kid arrived on the block and Network Solutions has not seemed to have woken up yet.

We rolled out our AINEO Secure service from 1 June. It has certainly been an adventure. During that time, we have seen the crashes and overloads of messaging systems at Google and Apple. Microsoft has changed their strategy and started a hostingservice in the US. What does that mean to AINEO?

Working with the systems from the time when they were standard TDM switching (PBX) to the advent of voice over IP and IP PBX systems. 2007 was a phenomenal year for AINEO. We added over 100 additional sites nationwide and although we are doing regional support in the Asia Pacific region, we saw incredible growth in Japan. In 2007, we executed business in every major city in Japan, and a lot of minor ones to boot.

With the internet, digital television, push email services, and advertizing it is very clear that we have a lot of ‘information overload’. Information overload is having more information than what we can process. There is so much information that we begin to ignore things that seem to be irrelevant. Email can contribute to this overload.
Email is something that, these days, tends to go out of control quite easily. The average user probably gets somewhere between 30 to 100 emails per day. For some people, just keeping up with email can become a full time job.
