Project Manager
The role of the AINEO Networks Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize IT Solutions projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring engineering resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Core responsibilities:
• Day-to-day management of projects through the entire project lifecycle, within budget and set timescales
• Business analysis on projects, including gathering client and user requirements and defining functional requirements
• Ongoing support of solutions post-deployment
• Management of project teams
• Informing the Operations Director of future resource requirements
Core competencies:
• manage project discovery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating workshops and documenting user requirements
• scope, plan and budget projects, incorporating crucial details such as risk management and return on investment
• give sufficient input into the technical analysis of the project
• work with Account Managers, keeping them informed of any problems
• supervise all those in the team, applying hands-on management when necessary
• foster a successful team-working environment while also helping to motivate individuals
• ensure that all projects are executed within budget, to time and to high standards
Candidate requirements:
Essential:
• University Graduate, with at least two years experience in project management
• Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry
• Accreditation in, or demonstrable understanding of, a recognised project management methodology or a certified project management professional (PMP).
